Yazsh Cafe and Bistro opened June of 2025. Lora Popov is the creator and owner. She grew up on the West Side of Indy, not too far from the Indy 500 as a first generation American. Her mother and father immigrated to the US from Macedonia and Bulgaria respectfully. It was her father's dream to open and own his own restaurant, but he passed away before he could realize his dream. Lora obtained an undergrad from IU Kelley School of Business and has worked, opened, and ran several local restaurants in the Indy area. She met and has known her executive chef, Trevor Hall, for 8 years. He has come on board with his experience is business and culinary trainings from various parts of the globe. Together they bring elevation fusion Mediterranean cuisine to the near East Side of Indy!
