David DyrekChef David Dyrek, a Chicago native, discovered his love for cooking early while learning beside his mother and grandmother. In 2010, he left flight school to pursue the culinary arts, beginning in chain restaurants where he quickly stood out for his work ethic and leadership. By 2013, he became Executive Chef at a hometown pub, strengthening his skills in kitchen management.
A defining moment came in 2015 when he cooked for a private client at a major national sporting event, igniting his passion for sports and entertainment dining. In 2017, he served as Executive Sous Chef at a major collegiate stadium, supporting six football seasons and large-scale events nationwide, cementing his reputation in high-volume, high-pressure environments.
Since joining Sodexo Live! at Lucas Oil Stadium in 2023, Chef David has advanced from Executive Sous Chef to Executive Chef. He now leads culinary operations at one of the country’s premier stadiums, blending hospitality, precision, and a passion for fast-paced, adrenaline-driven experiences to create memorable moments for guests
