Nick Detrich has been the founder of multiple restaurants, in New Orleans and Indianapolis, which have won James Beard Awards, placed on the World's 50 Best Bars List, won TOTC Spirited Awards, and have been written up in publications such as the New York Times, Garden & Gun, Lucky Peach, and others. He opened Magdalena in Indianapolis in 2024.
