Luke LandgrebeChef Luke Landgrebe was born and raised in Naples, Florida before relocating to Springfield, Illinois, where he graduated from Riverton High School in 2000. His professional culinary career began in 2011 at Downtown Harry & Izzy’s, where he worked his way through multiple kitchen roles, eventually becoming a supervisor. In 2022, Luke was named Sous Chef at Harry & Izzy’s Northside, and in 2025 he stepped into the role of Executive Chef.
What Luke loves most about the restaurant industry isn’t just creating great food, it’s creating memorable experiences for guests. He believes hospitality is about connection, celebration, and leaving a lasting impression.
Outside of the kitchen, Luke enjoys spending time with his wife, their three sons, Evan, Mason, and Owen, and their black lab, Delilah. The family can often be found canoeing at Eagle Creek, fishing, hiking, or cheering at soccer games.
While Luke hasn’t experienced the Indy 500 in person yet, he has lived vicariously through countless stories from friends, making it feel like a long-standing tradition already.
