Thales Martinelli has cooked with Fogo de Chão for 15 years at the Indianapolis location, but has been practicing Brazilian Churrasco for 17+ years. He hails from Rio Grande de Sul Brazil, but lives in Indy with his family.

Housed in the former Zipper Building – named for its façade that resembles a zipper – Fogo is in the heart of downtown Indianapolis. Fogo elevates the centuries-old cooking technique of churrasco – the art of roasting high-quality cuts of meat over an open flame – into a cultural dining experience of discovery. Differentiated menus are offered for all dayparts including lunch, dinner, weekend brunch and group dining, plus full-service catering and contactless takeout and delivery options.
