Bio: Gabriel Rosado, a Certified Executive Chef (CEC), boasts an illustrious career in the culinary world, serving as the Director and Executive Chef of Hospitality and Nutrition Services at Hartsfield Village since October 2013. With a strong foundation established at the esteemed Le Cordon Bleu Chicago Culinary School, Gabriel graduated with an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science in Culinary Arts.

Having previously demonstrated his culinary expertise as the Executive Chef at The Club at Strawberry Creek from July 2008 to April 2013, Gabriel later expanded his impact by imparting knowledge as a Culinary Instructor at Ivy Tech Community College. His dedication to culinary education extended to teaching courses in Meat & Seafood Fabrication, Classical Cuisine, and Garde Manger, fostering a new generation of culinary talent. Chef Rosado also actively mentors students at the local Area Career Center to prepare them for Skills USA Culinary Competitions.

Gabriel’s commitment to excellence has earned him numerous accolades, including the Standard of Excellence Award from Hartsfield Village in 2015 and the esteemed Chapter Chef of the Year 2022 recognition from the ACF Chef’s of Northwest Indiana. His pivotal role as the current President of ACF Chef’s of Northwest Indiana showcases his influential leadership within the culinary community. Furthermore, he received the distinguished Presidential Coin of Excellence from the ACF National President for his unparalleled commitment to culinary excellence and leadership.
