Scotchy Jamaican Grill
Chefs: Marlon Llewellyn & Bryce Llewellyn
Scotchy Jamaican Grill, is the newest authentic Jamaican restaurant concept. Founded by father and son Marlon and Bryce Llewellyn, the restaurant is set to captivate guests' taste buds with its unique offerings, such as 24-hour marinated Jerk Chicken and Pork and signature sides.
Marlon Llewellyn is a Ball State University graduate and a longtime K12 and higher education leader. A native of Kingston, Jamaica, he grew up watching his Mother as she led a successful Jamaican restaurant in their hometown of May Pen, Jamaica.
Bryce Llewellyn, a Cathedral High School graduate, 2x state champion in football, academic all-state, and current division one football player majoring in Economics at Eastern Michigan University, started his career in the restaurant business in school, with a thriving food preparation company all while in college.
The inspiration for Scotchy Jamaican Grill came to Marlon during a sermon at Heartland Church in Fishers, Indiana, in February 2024. The scripture John 15:5, Abide in Me, resonated with him deeply. During this sermon, Marlon felt a divine calling to launch Scotchy Jamaican Grill, and customers have been selling out dinner service to taste the authentic flavors of Jamaica and Catch Ah Vibe!
